1974 Steely Dan concert named most downloaded in 2012 by Wolfgang's Vault

Wolfgang's Vault, according to Wikipedia's description a private music-focused company established in 2003 dedicated to the restoration and archiving of live concert recordings in audio and video format and the sale of music memorabilia. It began with the collection of the late promoter Bill Graham, and added multiple other music and memorabilia archives, named a 1974 Steely Dan concert the number one most downloaded for 2012.

Previously only available as a bootleg and apparently recorded by sound engineer etc Stuart Dinkie Dawson at The Rainbow Theatre, London, England May 20, 1974, it popped up on the Wolfgang's Vault site in 2011 together with another recording made at The Paramounth Theatre, Seattle July 1, 1974.
At that time we wrote a blog entry about the recordings' legal issues. Read it here!

Read an interview with Dinky from the April, 1992 issue of Steely Dan fanzine Metal Leg here.
