Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Walter Becker and Donald Fagen will bring Steely Dan to the road in 2014, taking their "Jamalot Ever After" Tour across the U.S. and Canada. Opening at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon on July 2, the tour is set for 47 shows before concluding at Baltimore, Maryland's Pier Six Pavilion on September 17. A quick glance over on steelydan.com lists not 47 but 53 shows between July 2 and September 17. But what the hey! As they say; "the more the merrier"...
And that last phrase gives us hope that there might be additional dates added in the next two months leading up to the first show of the tour. There's even a handful of months after the tour and before Christmas that could include some dates overseas. Could and ... dare we say ... should? There. We said it. Not that we know anything about any additional touring plans.
