If they're having as much fun on stage as they look like they're having I wouldn't be surprised to see the tour extended or the Dukes "takin' it to the streets" in 2011 as well.Nebukadnessar Stephenson and Sigurd Hucklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07229074725389438567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088849.post-44673230750386475032010-09-15T21:21:08.949+02:002010-09-15T21:21:08.949+02:00Saw the "Dukes" on the 8th in Detroit at...Saw the "Dukes" on the 8th in Detroit at the Fox Theatre. I also have seen a few DF tours and this just was a slightly different slice of their talent and musical interests. The most eagerly received songs and the most entertaining were from Boz. But all of the songs were very well done and you could tell these guys loved getting out of the mould of playing what everone else wanted Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088849.post-17802699551444895902010-09-13T17:13:55.034+02:002010-09-13T17:13:55.034+02:00Saw them September 10,2010 at PNC Pavilion in Cinc...Saw them September 10,2010 at PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati and they were absolutely awesome! No, they didn't just perform all the hits that made them famous but that was the great part! They showed how talented they still are and how well they all play together. Best show I've been to in a very long time! Would see them again if I could! They played 5 encore songs because the audience Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088849.post-64253248993711086352010-09-09T04:56:33.979+02:002010-09-09T04:56:33.979+02:00dont understand all the whining about the setlist....dont understand all the whining about the setlist. The weather was wretched with down pours of rain, lightning and thunder and the concert started an hour later after the weather calmed down with light sprinkles. We were all excited to see them preform. They covered old songs for the first part of the show, which most of us were very disappointed. These three are such powerhouses Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088849.post-32963415217054534742010-08-26T17:31:34.335+02:002010-08-26T17:31:34.335+02:00I saw the Dukes in Virginia on Aug. 22. I was totally knocked out by the three songs from The Band. This was nearly 3 hours of superb musicians playing their asses off and having a great time doing so. I even loved their cheesy version of the Beach Boys, Help Me, Rhonda. I never got to see the Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088849.post-31418102953933329992010-08-26T15:55:04.377+02:002010-08-26T15:55:04.377+02:00Saw The Dukes of September last night in Charlotte...Saw The Dukes of September last night in Charlotte -- wonderful band, great background singers but way too many oldies that lost the crowd ("Love TKO," for example). Needed a few more of the hits from Scaggs, Fagen and McDonald -- especially disappointed not to hear Scaggs do "Lido Shuffle" a great, great song. Tribute to The Band was wonderful, though. All in all, a good timeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
