Update March 4: The dates are no longer on Jeff's homepage. Let us think of them as friends who suddenly went away leaving us hoping for their swift and safe return...
And in the meantime we can rest our eyes and minds on the dates below that still exsist as memories of those departed friends.
After the U.S. part of the 2007 tour ends in early June it's off to Europe starting in Birmingham on the 4 of July. A couple more dates in Britain and then follows France, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Scandinavia, Switzerland and Italy. A total of 17 dates throughout July!

yesss, great news. i hope it's not too far from where you reside, the options? or are you gonna meet up with Clas and rebecka and sara in stockholm??? they should be on stage with them there, you know....
ReplyDeletei think i am going to Brussels, just an hour drive from where i live. North Sea is too crowded for me.
hm. stuff to arrange and such now...
have a good weekend!
toodles, Gina
If I had the money I'd try to make it to a couple of non-Scandinavian shows. But as it seems right now I'll have to bring my maraccas and head for the stage with Clas to help the guys and gals from over there out during an encore or three at the Stockholm Jazz Festival.
ReplyDeleteAs you say: Stuff to arrange and such...
Expected: That the dates would disappear from Jeff's page. Though he got to keep them up longer than Michael McDonald did on his site for last year's tour.
Just got tickets for the Molde Show!
ReplyDeleteLeif
Great to hear Leif! Are you familiar with Molde and the jazz festival? If you are could you tell us something about the place where Steely Dan will play. As we understand it it outdoors. How large is the arena? How many tickets can they sell?
ReplyDeleteThe Molde Jazz Festival is considered to have a high international reputation. This year a Gary Burton/Chick Corea gig will take place, as well as one with the Dave Holland Quintet, including SD sideman Chris Potter.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to this particular outdoor site, but the concerts there are usually the highlights of the festival
.Although I don't live there the city and especially the surrounding area is absolutely specatcular by most standards, check this :

See you in Molde?
