The final chart of the year topped by Joe Jackson with a sprinkling of The Beatles, Steely Dan and Zappa making up the main part of the rest. Our Album of the Month; Talking Heads More Songs About Buildings And Food made number 14 with one song. And a bit of a surprise to find Swedish prog/jazz band Egba making it all the way to number 4!
that Joe Jackson album has always had a peculiar ring to it, maybe it were the times we lived in then...but maybe he was his time ahead to some extent...
ReplyDeleteJoe is an exceptional artist that more people should get the chance to enjoy. And this is one of his best albums as far as Radio Dupree is concerned.
