Nina Hagen live in Umeå, Sweden

Peace and Jesus were the main issues during punk rock icon Nina Hagen's appearance in Umeå, Sweden yesterday. "Swedish mothers: don't send your children to military school!" was one of her messages.
Nina Hagen also talked and sang a lot about her Christian faith. We got to hear several religious songs. Maybe just a few too many where she was strumming her guitar on her own. Her talk in between songs was warm but sometimes whimsical and not always with a punchline, but the audience did not mind since she has such charm.
