August 12 Toronto/ Is it happening?
ReplyDeleteHi there Anonymous! Wish we could answer a definitive "yes" or "no" to the August 12 Toronto question. But all we have is a confirmed date close by on August 11; Canandaiga, NY.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the Toronto date goes it's not on Michael McDonald's or Boz Scaggs' homepage. And not listed over on the homepage of the Molson Amphitheatre.
It is however featured on a bunch of these more or less shady sites that always seem to have prime tickets for above-face-value, but...
Being the careful persons that we are here on Radio Dupree we'd be lying if we said the date is on. At best it's one of thoise rumoured dates that may/may not happen.
Keep an eye on the official pages and fan pages. They'll get the news first.
UPDATE MAY 2: This article from the Toronto Sun http://www.torontosun.com/2012/05/01/lopez-iglesias-team-up-for-tour states that the Toronto show is on and that tickets go on sale this Friday via Ticketmaster! Great news for Fagen/McDonald/Scaggs-fans in Toronto.
ReplyDeleteNothing in Connecticut? They opened the tour in Danbury a few years back; why not come back to the nutmeg state? It would suck to have to travel to NYC or NJ for a weeknight show
