Yes, we got this email from The Beacon the same day that the 2015 run of Steely Dan shows kicked off. With the headline of "Eight nights of Steely Dan - Great seats just released" we sure wih we could've been there. Maybe next time.

Steely Dan will be offering their New York fans an opportunity to hear the band's three-decade-plus record catalogue when Walter Becker and Donald Fagen take The Beacon Theatre stage for an eight night residency starting tonight, October 6, 2015. The band has previously performed historic multi-night stands at the Beacon in 2009, 2011 and 2013, staging complete performances of several of their classic albums in their entirety along with "Popular Demand" and "Greatest Hits" evenings. Musicians performing with Steely Dan include: Keith Carlock on drums, Freddie Washington on bass, Jim Beard on keyboards, Jon Herington on guitar, Michael Leonhart on trumpet, Jim Pugh on trombone, Roger Rosenberg on baritone saxophone, Walt Weiskopf on saxophone, with Paulette McWilliams, Carolyn Escoffery, and Cindy Mizelle offering up the sublime vocal harmonies emblematic of that utterly unique "Steely Dan sound."
