American musician Ed Mann (b. 1954) has passed away. He played percussion in Frank Zappa's band for many years, making his debut there in fall 1977.
He continued touring with Zappa in 1978, 1979, 1981, 1982 and finally in 1988 which came to be Zappa's last tour.
