Dukes of September 2012 performing more originals

Apparently more originals and pushing the envelope this time around for The Dukes of September Rhythm Revue. That what this article from The Telegraph says.

We also get to learn that Donald Fagen is the musical director and Boz Scaggs the "token Okie".

Read it here.

The tour starts in St. Louis on June 20. Touring schedule here.

UPDATE June 23: Michael McDonald interviewed on Fresh 102.5 in St. Louis:

UPDATE June 21: Here's a review of the premiere including a setlist, so SPOILER ALERT!

Just got done listening to the Michael McDonald interiew.

Thanks PER! Mike had a bit of a "senior moment" though.
The Steely Dan concert at The Ambassador Theater in St. Louis was actually in 1974 not '72,
he wasn't even in the touring band in '72. And the St. Louis date wasn't the second show of
the famed '74 tour, it was actually in the middle of
the scheduled dates (The tour started March 1 at the
Sopwith Camel in Glendale, the St. Louis show was April 29)
and just before the legendary trip across the pond and the subsequent cancellation of the majority of those shows.

Thanks for setting the record straight.
Looking forward to hearing some of the "new" odl songs The Dukes play perform this tour. Wonder if that TV special rumored quite some time ago will ever become reality?
