Al Di Meola presents sequel to Friday Night in San Fransisco

Via Al Di Meola's Facebook we learn that there was a “Saturday Night in San Francisco" the night after “Friday Night In San Francisco” at the same Warfield theater from December 1980 with the trio Al Di Meola/John McLaughlin/Paco De Lucia.
The Friday's show was released on the famous album pictured above.

"The tapes had been stored at Al’s studio vault room for 40 years. Now finally after restoring the tapes they will be brought out for release in June or Sept 2021 in the states on the IMPEX - SONY label  and in Europe on EAR MUSIC label . The live recording will feature compositions of John’s “Meeting of the Spirits”, Paco’s “El Panuelo” , Al’s “Splendido Sundance”, Luis Bonfa’s “Black Orpheus”, and each player’s unaccompanied individual solo spot."
