This is how Yes veteran drummer Bill Bruford comments it on Facebook and on Yesworld.com:
"Yes was like my first girlfriend, to whom I was hopelessly committed. Despite a couple of wrinkles, I’m glad to hear the old girl is in fine shape".

King Crimson - most popular on Radio Dupree 2014
We have compiled a Radio Dupree chart for the entire year 2014, based on the monthly charts compiled by listeners voting on the songs they hear on Radio Dupree. This is how we did it: A #1 position got 10 points, #2 got 9 points etc.
So here it is:
1. King Crimson
39 points
7 listings
2. David Bowie
29 points
9 listings
3. Steely Dan
26 points
5 listings
4. The Beatles
23 points
5 listings
5. Jethro Tull
23 points
4 listings
6. Pink Floyd
23 points
4 listings
7. Kate Bush
23 points
3 listings
8. Walter Becker
21 points
4 listings
9. Yes
21 points
3 listings
10. Jimi Hendrix
20 points
4 listings
Chart analysis: Somewhat surprising to find King Crimson on the top of the 2014 chart. We have always been playing KC but we expected to find them as #9 och 10 or so. We have considered them to be a bit left field, even for our listeners, but this indicates that we should continue to play KC.
The rest of the artists/groups in the chart are ones that we expected to be there somewhere, with a couple of exceptions: First it's Kate Bush. She has appeared on our monthly charts three times. Well deserved! We have played more music by Kate, to celebrate her tour, and we assume that Kate's successful tour increased the interest for her music.
Then there is Yes. We often use to stick a couple of Yes songs into our playlists, but have seldom seen them getting any "thumbs up", until 2014.
2013 Frank Zappa was #2. Now he didn't really make it on the top ten chart, which is sad. Should we play less music by Frank? Come on, don't give me that!
Anyway, keep pushing them "thumbs up" buttons when you hear something you like on Radio Dupree.

A Goldmine of prog rock

Among the stuff in the issue they go through the years with Yes, the iconic prog band that’s been through the roundabout of changes in its 40 years, but has always produced strong music (including the album it’s working on in the studio now.)
There's also Flash, the 1970s British prog-rock band that was a short-lived Yes spinoff band.
The original incarnation disbanded in 1973, but founding members Ray Bennett and Colin Carter have formed a new Flash, and is back in business.

And as you've noticed it just happens to be that The Yes Album is our Album of the Month on Radio Dupree.

Di Leva sings Bowie and Yes on new album

On his blog Di Leva explains that "David Bowie's song Let's Dance is one of the most influential songs of the eighties. It was also one of the biggest challenges to take this wonderful great evergreen into a completely new setting. We wanted to bring it into a futuristic sci-fi techno landscape. Really stripping it from its past, but still keeping its original soul and spirit."
Release date for the new cd Lovestar is March 31 (Universal). Other songs on the cd are Another Day In Paradise (Phil Collins) and Miracle Of Love (Eurythmics).
