Aja cover model dies

It's 30 years ago this year since Steely Dan released the album Aja. Right now Steely Dan is in Japan on the 2007 Heavy Rollers tour.
And we've just learned that the woman on the cover of the Aja album; Sayoko Yamaguchi, has died 57 years old.

She was born in Yokohama and became a succesful model in the 70's. Sayoko modeled for major designers such as Kenzo Takada, Issei Miyake and Kansai Yamamoto, and i 1977 Newsweek magazine named Yamaguchi one of the top six models in the world.
She died from acute pneumonia August 14.
