Georg for the kids

The two guys pictured above are Georg "Jojje" Wadenius and James Hollingworth. Long before Georg Wadenius went to the United States to record and tour with people like Donald Fagen and Steely Dan, he recorded and toured back home in Sweden.
He also made a couple of children's music records that are considered classics in Sweden. That was back in the early 1970's.
At the same time James did a couple of children's records, so it's not that strange that they call themselves a "super group for children's music" now that they've written and recorded an album together. It's titled Hajar du and will be released November 15.
They're out doing a few gigs together as well.

I went searching for sounds and while Georg has a few on his homepage I couldn't get the links to work. James on his did, however. Nothing from the new record. Yet.

And over on youtube.com somebody has put a video of a kid in a tree to one of Georg Wadenius children's hits from the 70's; Kalles klätterträd. This is a re-recorded version:

The fun thing about both James and Georg is that the way the do their music makes it a great listen for adults as well.
