Well, Rykodisc did buy the catalogue several years ago. The Zappa Family Trust (Gail Zappa) were not really satisfied how Rykodisc administered it...we recall it was something concerning the Best of-compilations (Strictly Commercial). Recently we have read comments by fans that they have had problems findings some of FZ's albums, so maybe they got out of print. Do not know if the rights went back to Gail again for a while, but it is obvious that Universal Music is giving it a try now. /The Radio Dupree staff
