On Saturday August 8 it is exactly 40 years since photographer Iain Macmillan shot the famous cover of what was to become The Beatles final album; Abbey Road.

According to the BBC article Saturday is supposed to be an extra busy day at the zebra crossing with record numbers of fans turning up to cross the street and take photographs while doing it.
