R.I.P. Ray Collins

Several sources report that Ray Collins, singer of The Mothers of Invention, passed away on December 24.
Collins was the lead vocalist on the group's early albums as Freak Out! and Cruising With Ruben & The Jets. He died at the age of 76.

Directly From My Heart To You is absolutely one of our favourite Zappa recordings, but we are pretty sure it's Sugar Cane Harris singing, and also playing the violin. Happy New Year!
