New bass player for ZpZ tour

Dweezil Zappa seem to have recruited a new bass player quite soon after Bryan Beller left the Zappa plays Zappa band. reports that the name of the new bass player is Pete Griffin.
Dweezil’s brother Ahmet will not be in the band as a regular member (vocalist). He is now on the list of special guests, along with Napoleon Murphy Brock, Terry Bozzio and Steve Vai.

The ZpZ European tour will start in May. Dweezil tells the site that each show will be unique: “Expect the Unexpected! Expect the long-anticipated release of Frank Zappa’s TRANCE-FUSION. Coincidence? Uh uh! Guitar fans welcome!”

is the title of Frank Zappa'’s third collection of guitar solos. It has been ready for release for years, but has yet remained unreleased.
