If you've read the press material and the articles published so far there's not much new stuff mantioned in the interview. With one big exception:
When asked if he'll do any songs from the album on the upcoming Steely Dan tour he says no and explains why.
Walter also mentions his favourite track from Circus Money and why it is his favourite.
Well worth a listen. Walter's entertaining as always.
UPDATE June 6: Here's the link to another radio interview online kindly posted by Dimension Skipper in the comments:
"Not as interesting, but here's another 10 minute by-phone interview Walter did on WMGK recently (May 28th) with long-time rock DJ John DeBella on Classic Rock WMGK, 102.9 in Philadelphia."Walter sounds in a good mood and is able to rephrase the answers to some familiar questions.

Thanks for pointing out the "River" interview. Interesting stuff.
I was really hoping there'd be a track or two from C$ included in shows this tour, but I guess not. I have it and I'm loving it!

No major revelations, but might be worth hearing once. It doesn't start off so great, but there are perhaps some minorly interesting bits. They touch on touring in the old days and also the upcoming show at The Borgata Casino in Atlantic City (for which I have my ticket).
Thanks for the link. I kicked it "upstairs" into the post itself. Familiar territory covered indeed, but Walter sounds like he's rarely had the chance to answer these questions before.
Let us hear how the show is. When it was clear this was a US/Canada-only tour we were tempted to cross the waters to be there, but...
Maybe "how the show WAS" makes more sense... You shouldn't be forced to blog from the actual show. A short report the day after will do ;)
I don't have the means to do any at-the-show reports, but to be honest that's just as well in my book. I usually jot down an abbreviated version of the set list on paper as I go, but that's about it. Otherwise I prefer to just sit back and soak up the tunes. So any reports will indeed have to wait till post-show. Depending on time and circumstances I may do some sort of recap over at Mizar5 (as Daddy G.).
If we don't get any C$ tunes I'll gladly "settle" for some Wu. Probably just wishful thinking on my part, but maybe someday so why not this tour?
